Quick Overview

The LAN-AD16fx features 16 Analogue Inputs (selectable ranges of 1V, 2V, 5V, 10V, with a 250kHz total sampling rate and 16 Bit resolution), 2 Analogue Outputs (10V, with 16 bit resolution), 32 digital I/O channels (3 of which can be configured as 32-bit counters) all connected to a LAN network using a TCP/IP protocol to provide a safe and complete data transmission over long distances. Several DAQ systems can be integrated into a single network with several LAN-AD16F devices being fully synchronized. The number of potential units is only limited by the bandwidth of your network. Power supply 12-40v DC, plus units can be supplied by PoE (Power over Ethernet) to reduce cabling and make mobile measurements easier.

The LAN-AD16fx replaces the previous LAN-AD16F units.

DATA ACQUISITION VIA NETWORK. REMOTE. INGENIOUS.

The LAN technology of the LAN-AD16fx allows for measurement applications across great distances. The number of measuring points, where the devices are installed, is basically not limited. Data transmission to a server PC is fast and reliable.

PoE. POWER OVER ETHERNET.

The device can be supplied with power via network (Power over Ethernet). This reduces cabling and makes mobile measurements a lot easier. An external 12-40vDC power supply can still be used.

TCP/IP. GUARANTEED RELIABLE.

The LAN-AD16fx uses the TCP/IP protocol providing for safe and complete data transmission. Besides that, transmission via internet is possible - data acquisition with absolutely new possibilities.

CASCADABLE. SYNCHRONIZABLE.

The number of DAQ systems and with it the number of available channels is only limited by the bandwidth of the network. Several LAN-AD16fx devices can be synchronized with each other. If so, all measured data in distributed operation always keep time even with long-term measurements

16 ANALOG INPUTS. 250KHZ. 16 BIT. ±10V, ±5V, ±2V, ±1V.

16 analog inputs can be sampled with 16 bit resolution and 250kHz total sampling rate. The measuring range is selected via software for each channel separately.

2 ANALOG OUTPUTS. 16 BIT. ±10V.

The two ±10V outputs can be used for analog controls with 16 bit accuracy.

32 DIGITAL I/O CHANNELS.

Digital states are recorded or set at 32 digital inputs or outputs. The direction of the two 16-bit ports is set via software

COUNT and MEASURE: PULSES. FREQUENCY.POSITION. PERIOD.

Any 3 of the digital I/O channels can be configured as counter inputs with 32 bit resolutions. These allow the acquisition of counting pulses, incremental encoder or pulse-time measurement.

OPEN FOR EVERYONE.

Widely supported: The amplifier measurement system can be used under Windows® 8.1 and 10, Free BSD and Linux. The complete software for installation and programming of the LAN-AD16fx is included for free.
