Tinytag CO2 Logger

Quick Overview

The Tinytag CO2 data logger allows the monitoring of carbon dioxide levels in a room and builds up a clear profile of gas concentrations over time. There are two loggers available, covering a range of 0 - 2,000ppm and 0 - 5,000ppm. Large memory capacity of 32000 readings and 1 programmable alarm. Logging rate 1 sec to 10 days with min, max & actual readings. Units are supplied with an AC mains adapter and has screw terminals for a direct 18vDC supply.

The Tinytag CO2 logger uses a self-calibrating NDIR sensor, which uses an infrared source to accurately measure the carbon dioxide concentrations in an application. Over time, the properties of the infrared source will change, so the sensor uses a second infrared source, that is only powered up occasionally, to calibrate the first. This patented measurement technique allows for excellent long-term accuracy and stability.

The TGE-0010 unit has a measuring range of 0-2,000ppm and is suitable for workplace or school monitoring of CO2 levels. Normal atmospheric CO2 level will be around 400ppm, whilst normal indoor levels will be between 800 and 1,200 ppm with proper ventilation.

The TGR-0011 can be used in more specialised applications and has a measuring range of 0 to 5,000ppm. This unit is more suited to locations with poor ventilation or where the CO2 levels have been found to exceed the 2,000ppm range.
