These SGR Series Transducers can be used to monitoring bi-directional rotary or static torque. The SGR Series Transducers operate using a four-element strain gauge wheatstone bridge, which connects to a microcontroller to process the bridge output signal and measure the torque applied to the shaft. Using the full bridge helps to diminish errors from any off-axis forces and increases the sensitivity and temperature performance of the strain measurement. Available with ranges 0-1Nm to 0-13,000 Nm. The SGR510 unit come with analogue outputs for torque measurements, whilst the SGR520 unit also has RS232, CANbus or USB output to interface with TorqView Windows software, which provides a PC real time graphical display and full data logging facility.
The SGR Series replaces the previous RWT Series Torque transducers.
These SGR Series Transducers can be used to monitoring bi-directional rotary or static torque. A speed sensor for monitoring in dynamic applications, enabling direct measurements of transmitted power and RPM. The SGR51x units come with fixed analogue outputs for torque measurements, whilst the SGR52x units also has RS232, CANbus or USB output to interface with TorqView Windows software, which provides a PC real time graphical display and full data logging facility, plus allowing you to make changes to the.analogue outputs.
