Quick Overview

The WindObserver 65 has all of the performance features of the WindSonic with additional features including: Increased speed range, 0-65m/s; Optional de-icing system, extending the operational temperature range; IP66 Stainless Steel housing, which is particularly suitable for use in salt-water environments; Sonic temperature output; and scaleable analogue outputs (multiples of ±10m/s up to ±70m/s), with V or mA outputs. The WindObserver range of ultrasonic anemometers have a proven record in airport, offshore, marine and naval applications, plus it has been rigorously tested to a number of international standards.

Anodized Aluminium Bracket with 316 grade Stainless Steel sensor mount with isolation gasket to reduce corrosion. The Bracket uses a mounting clamp suitable for attaching to a vertical pipe with a diameter of 30-58mm. When mounting the WindObserver, consider the position, orientation and alignment of the unit. Mount at the top of a pipe to ensure a clear unobstructed measurement view. Kit includes stainless steel mounting bolts, multiple earth points and wall / pole mounting kit
