The CMP6 Pyranometer is a Spectrally Flat Class B pyranometer that has a similar detector to the CMP3 but with improved performance. The CMP6 uses a 64-junction thermopile detectors and provides an expected output of 0-30mV based on a sensitivity of 5 to 20µV/W/m². The CMP6 has two, 2mm thick, high quality concentric domes which reduces directional error and improves thermal isolation. The CMP6 has a drying cartridge with replaceable desiccant. Spectral range of 285 to 2800nm. The CMP6 is ideal for cost-effective, good quality, measurements in meteorological, hydrological and agricultural applications.
The SMP3 Pyranometer is a spectrally flat class C pyranometer with an amplified analogue and RS485 Modbus RTU output. The SMP3 is identical to the CMP3 pyranometer but includes a Modbus interface allowing for an improved response time and rescaleable, temperature corrected measurement data. The amplified output options are 0-1V or 4-20mA and these are identically configured to allow for easy installation and exchange during recalibration. The SMP3 has a 4mm glass dome with a spectral range of 300 to 2800nm. The small size and sealed construction make this instrument perfect for monitoring solar energy installations, agriculture, horticulture, hydrological and industrial applications.
