The CMP10 Pyranometer is a secondary standard pyranometer based on the same technology as the CMP11 but requires much less maintenance. The CMP10 uses a 32-junction thermopile detector and provides an expected output of 0-20mV based on a sensitivity of 7 to 14µV/Wm². The CMP10 has two, 2mm thick, high quality concentric domes which reduces directional error and improves thermal isolation. The CMP10 also has built-in temperature compensation and an internal desiccant that lasts for 10 years. Spectral range of 285 to 2800nm. The sealed construction and 10 year desiccant pack makes this pyranometer ideal for long-term installations for meteorological, hydrological and agricultural applications in difficult to reach locations.

Details

The housing design of the CMP10 provides a much larger capacity internal drying cartridge than the CMP11 and can last for up to 10 years. The only maintenance that is required is to periodically clean the dome of the pyranometer, which can be maximised by fitting the CVF4 ventilation unit to your CMP10. The CMP10 also features a passive temperature compensation circuit with a standardised linear function.

The CMP10 has a 32-junction thermopile sensing element which features faster response, better linearity and a wider measurement range than the CMP 3 and CMP 6.

The integral bubble level is raised to the top of the housing and can be viewed without removing the redesigned snap-on sun shield, which also covers the connector. The connector is a water proof socket fitted with the signature yellow signal cable and has gold-plated contacts allows for easy exchange and re-calibration. The signal cable is available in 10, 25 and 50m lengths.
