5331 2-Wire Programmable Transmitter

Quick Overview

The 5331 is an extremely high accuracy sensor head mounting programmable transmitters suitable for PT100/PT1000, Ni100, TC or Ohm inputs. The transmitters converts the inputs into a 4-20mA output. The output signal is proportional and linear to the value of the temperature or resistance value that influences the input. The unt requires a 7.2 to 35vDC power supply and can be mounted in a sensor head or DIN rail mounted. The unit is galvanically isolated and has the option of intrinsically safe versions.

Applications

Linearised temperature measurement with PT100/Pt1000, Ni100/Ni1000 or TC sensor.
Conversion of linear resistance variation to astandard analogue current signal, for instance from valves or Ohmic level sensors.
Amplification of a bipolar mV signal to astandard 4-20 mA current signal.
