Description
The LeveLine-CTD is a water level, temperature, conductivity and salinity logger designed for long-term deployment in diverse aquatic environments, including harsh and saline conditions, thanks to its durable Titanium body. It precisely measures water level (0.05% FS accuracy), temperature (compensated across -20 to 80°C), conductivity (0-200,000 µS/cm), and salinity (0-70 PSU). A vented option is also available.
The LeveLine-CTD includes an integrated data logger, capable of storing 500,000 data points and powered by a 10-year lithium battery. The whole unit is housed within a 22mm x 186mm all-Titanium body and a black plastic sleeve over the conductivity sensor. Communication interfaces include SDI-12 and RS485/MODBUS, with optional venting for barometric compensation. The device is supported by LeveLink PC software for data processing and carries a 5-year warranty.

The 4 ring stainless steel conductivity sensor for EC and salinity measurements is located under the elongated nose sleeve. The black plastic nose sleeve (shown removed on the right of the photo) forms an integral, working part of the Probe’s EC measurement system, and MUST be fitted during calibration and measurement for correct operation. On a regular basis, thoroughly clean the inside of the nose sleeve and the four metal EC contacts situated in the EC cell with a soft cloth or toothbrush and non-abrasive detergent. Never use solvent or alcohol based products to clean the EC cell. After cleaning, replace the nose sleeve and re-calibrate the EC sensor with the RapidCal solution.
