The 5335 is an extremely high accuracy sensor head mounting programmable transmitters with HART protocol suitable for PT100/PT1000, Ni100, TC, Ohm or mV inputs. The transmitters converts the inputs into a 4-20mA output. The output signal is proportional and linear to the value of the temperature or resistance value that influences the input. The unt requires a 8 to 35vDC power supply and can be mounted in a sensor head or DIN rail mounted. The unit is galvanically isolated and has the option of intrinsically safe versions.

HART Protocol
The HART protocol provides a uniquely backward compatible solution for instrument communication as both 4-20 mA analog and digital communication signals are transmitted simultaneously on the same wiring. The Loop Link Programming Kit can configure the individual transmitters for multidrop mode and provide it with a unique polling address. HART provides many benefits promised by fieldbus, while retaining the compatibility and familiarity of existing 4-20 mA systems.
