This versatile selection of digital sensors integrates seamlessly with compatible Teracom devices to provide reliable, real-time monitoring. Operating on a simple contact closure mechanism, where the sensor acts as a basic switch that opens or closes a circuit, these devices offer an efficient, cost-effective way to track critical environmental changes and system statuses without complex programming.
They are ideal for a wide range of facility management, security, and safety applications, including:
Environmental Hazards: Early warning water-leak detectors and smoke alarms to prevent property damage.
Security & Access Control: Magnetic door and window sensors to track unauthorised entry or verify that a facility is secure.
Infrastructure & Power Monitoring: AC voltage presence sensors that instantly detect power failures, circuit trips, or equipment shutdowns.
By converting physical events into a simple digital signal, these sensors allow your Teracom system to trigger instant alerts, log events, or automate safety protocols the moment a condition changes.
The TSF400-0 is a water leak detection sensor designed for detecting the presence of water on a surface without the need for a separate alarm module. The sensor uses 5 electrodes on the base of the sensor and trips when one of the four outer electrodes connects to the central electrode. This sensor is ideal for monitoring a HVAC drip tray, floors in server rooms or simple domestic or commercial flood alert systems. The output is rated for 30V @ 100mA and can be connected to digital alarm units for providing local or SMS alerts.
The TSD800 is a magnetic door sensor with IP65 protection. Can be mounted to metal or wooden doors and windows. Provides a simple 'dry contact' relay output for monitoring by controller. Max 40V @ 0.2A Switching. Dimensions: 32 x 15 x 0mm, IP65.
The TSS8030R is a smoke detector designed for early fire warning by detecting a fixed level of smoke concentration through infrared ray scattering in its optic chamber, with factory-preset sensitivity. Controlled by a microprocessor utilising an enhanced algorithm for self-compensation of chamber contamination, this smoke sensor features a relay output, enabling its use with controllers that have digital inputs operating in "dry contact" mode. Smoke sensitivity complies with EN 54-7:2000+ A1:2002;
TSV101 is an AC voltage detector with galvanic isolation. The unit provides a digital output for an AC voltage range of 0 to 250vAC, default switching point 170vAC, reduced to 85vAC by removing jumper. Dimensions: 85 x 35.1 x 23.5mm. Operating conditions: 0 to +40°C @ 5-85%RH (non-condensing).
