The PR 5332 is a cost-effective and dedicated temperature transmitter, designed for high-accuracy RTD and resistance measurement. It is the perfect choice for applications where you need reliable and precise temperature readings without the added complexity of a universal input. Its specialised function makes it a streamlined solution for new installations and a smart option for PT100 or PT1000 temperature measurements.

Dedicated Input Capability

  • RTD Temperature Measurement: Convert signals from a variety of RTDs (PT100, PT1000, Ni100, Ni1000) to a standard 4-20mA output with exceptional accuracy. The PR 5332 supports 2-, 3-, and 4-wire RTD connections, offering flexible and reliable installation options.
  • Resistance Conversion: Accurately convert linear resistance changes—from devices like potentiometers or Ohmic level sensors—into a standard 4-20mA signal.

  • Sensor Error Detection (NAMUR NE43): The unit continuously monitors for sensor failures (e.g., short or open circuits). You can program the output to a specific fail-safe value (e.g., 3.5mA or 23mA) to provide an immediate and clear alert to operators.
  • Durable & Compact Design: Designed for DIN form B sensor head mounting, its compact size fits easily into standard enclosures, while its robust construction ensures long-term reliability.
