The SQ Series data loggers are a range of general purpose data loggers with universal inputs suitable for monitoring current, voltage, resistance, temperatures and digital channels for alarms and triggering. Loggers have 8 differential/16 single-ended, 8 digital state inputs and 4 digital outputs. The logger can be used as a portable logger using its internal battery power and operate the logger.
The Squirrel 450/850 series is a cost effective portable data logger with a maximum of 4 or 8 universal inputs. In common with its bigger brother, the Squirrel 1000 series data logger, the 450 and 850 series are equipped with impressive specifications, long battery life and a three year guarantee. Models 451 and 851 have 4 or 8 universal inputs respectively, configurable for voltage, current and temperature for both thermocouple and thermistor sensors. In addition a serial interface is available for special applications, eg. Vaisala weather sensors WMT52 & WXT520.
The basic Squirrel data logger is small and portable and consists of the CPU and battery pack. The CPU contains the processor, memory, power connector, display, RS232 serial connection, a pulse input, an 8 bit digital signal input and output connector.
