Description
The PyroMiniUSB, Part Ref: PMU21, allows users to safely monitor critical surface temperatures of large or close-up targets without disturbing your process or compromising clean environments. It combines compact portability with high-speed response times, providing consistent, contactless temperature tracking where standard contact probes can’t go. The PUM21 has 2:1 Optics meaning the detection spot increase by half the distance. The PyroMiniUSB is powered via the USB connection and users can stream real-time contactless temperature data straight to your custom software via Modbus.

- Combined with a blackbody calibration source, the PyroMiniUSB makes the ideal calibration reference pyrometer. Keep one in your calibration room and check the performance of your other sensors against it. Calibration certificates are available on request for traceability.

The diagrams show the diameter of the measured spot versus the distance from the lens of the sensor. The measured spot sizes shown here contain 90% of the energy the sensor detects. We normally recommend the target size should be at least twice the measured spot size for maximum accuracy. All PyroMiniUSB models will measure at longer distances than the diagrams show, with a larger measured spot size.
