Description
The HygroFlex3 (HF3) series consists of reliable, cost-effective transmitters designed primarily for HVAC, building management systems (BMS), and clean room applications. Within the line-up, the “Space” and “Room” variants occupy a specific niche compared to the industrial-focused Duct and Wall models or the modernised “A” generation.
HF3 Space and Room Mount Versions
- The Space (Type S) and Room (Type R) mounts are specifically tailored for indoor commercial, office, and institutional environments. HF3 Space Mount (Type S): Features an integrated probe built directly into or fixed onto a sleeker, more aesthetically pleasing housing (82 x 82 x 28 mm}. It blends seamlessly into office walls, museums, libraries, and galleries. It is the only variant in the HF3 series that can support an optional graphic LCD display.
- HF3 Room Mount (Type R): This version features a retractable/pull-out integrated probe. It is highly specialised for environments where appearance or vandalism is a concern, or where the probe needs temporary physical protection. It boasts a slightly tighter, higher-grade accuracy ±1.5 %RH / ±0.2 K compared to standard models.
Features
- Sleek Low-Profile Housing: Compact, architectural design ($82 \times 82 \times 28 \text{ mm}$) tailored to blend cleanly into office walls, galleries, cleanrooms, and public buildings.
- Retractable Probe Design (Room/Type R): Features a unique physical pull-out probe mechanism that protects the delicate sensors from vandalism, tampering, or damage during room maintenance.
- Integrated Graphic Display (Space/Type S): The exclusive variant in the HF3 line-up that offers an optional factory-installed LCD screen to view live climate metrics on-wall.
- Advanced AirChip3000 Logic: Built-in processing intelligence that handles auto-diagnostics, sensor drift compensation, and immediate psychrometric calculations like dew point and frost point.
- Scalable Analogue Signals: Flexible 2-wire or 3/4-wire circuit designs featuring user-configurable analogue outputs (0 to 10V, or 4 to 20mA) via software.
