Description
The Exemys GRD-4GM Series is a high-performance industrial telemetry solution designed for the remote monitoring and control of sensors in dispersed or isolated locations. Building on the legacy of the GRD-3G and GPRS models, the 4GM series introduces global 4G LTE Cat 1 connectivity with an optional Iridium Satellite fallback, ensuring mission-critical data reaches your server even from areas with zero cellular coverage.
The series is highly versatile, featuring models that range from pure serial-to-cellular gateways to high-density RTUs with up to 24 local I/O points. It supports a wide array of industrial protocols, including Modbus Master/Slave and WITS, and is fully user-programmable via a powerful text-based scripting engine for local logic and mathematical operations.
Data is pushed to a central server where the Middleware software automatically populates a MySQL database, which can then be visualized through a secure M2M web interface or integrated directly into a private SCADA system. With an internal memory for 100,000 readings, the GRD-4GM guarantees data integrity during network outages by using a “store and forward” mechanism.
