DDE Miniature Low Profile – Bi-directional Load Cell

The DDE series load cells are an inline bi-directional load cell suitable for tension and compression applications with restricted mounting space. The DDE’s small size and reduced weight, along with its low deflection results in a high stiffness assembly, makes this load cell suitable for rapid measurement changes and high frequency transients. Load cells are available with a bi-directional range of 100N up to 50kN with a standard 2mV/V output and accuracy of 0.3%. Units can be supplied with suitable inline amplifiers to provide a calibrated 4-20mA output.

DDE Load Cell

Description

The DDE range of low profile load cells is designed for the measurement of tensile or compressive forces. The DDE design enables in-line mounting of the load cell in a variety of industrial, research and development applications. Its compact size makes it advantageous in applications where it is not possible to fit conventional load cells, i.e. ‘S’ type load cells.

The low deflection and high natural frequency of the DDE offers particular benefits in material testing and cable tension monitoring applications..
