DBEP Load Pin – Compression Load Cell

The DBEP shear pin load cells are designed for the measurement of both tension and compression forces in general applications such as process monitoring, offshore, civil engineering and industrial applications. They are environmentally sealed to IP67 as standard but can be enhanced to IP68 for fully submersible applications in sea water of 6500 metres or more. Load cells are available with a bi-directional range of 2.5 tonnes up to 50 tonnes with a standard 1-1.5mV/V output.

DBEP Load Cell

Description

The DBEP series load pins are ideal for measuring bi-directional forces in general applications. All pins are manufactured in precipitation hardened stainless steel, and supplied with anti-rotation plates when required.

The minimum environmental sealing level of IP67 on all DBEP pins ensures that they are suitable in the arduous conditions encountered in many industrial applications. For situations where seawater immersion is required, specialised IP68 sealing glands can be fitted to ensure long life.

The DBEP series is supplied in standard ranges from 2.5 tonnes to 50 tonnes. However, the nature of this style of product means that most pins are manufactured to meet customers’ specific dimensional requirements and ranges, we will therefore be pleased to discuss any special requirements with you.

DSC-USB Load Cell Digitiser Module. The DSC-USB is a USB load cell interface designed to convert load cell inputs into a digital USB Serial output, 100 samples per second. It is housed in a rugged plastic enclosure (71 x 51 x 20mm) rated to IP50 with a D9 connector and female micro USB connector. The DSC-USB draws power directly from the PC interface and units are supplied with DSCUSB to USB converter tool kit software and USB to micro USB cable, 1.5m.
