Description
The PR 2224 is a microprocessor-based valve controller designed for the precision regulation of single- or double-coil hydraulic and pneumatic proportional valves. It is engineered for industrial operators requiring linear soft acceleration and deceleration, utilizing programmable ramp and jump functions to eliminate mechanical deadbands during valve transitions. The primary configuration choice involves selecting the supply voltage (12V or 24V DC) and the output control mode (Single Valve A or Double Valve A/B) to match the specific hydraulic architecture of the system.
Applications
- Control and regulation of single- or double-coil hydraulic and pneumatic proportional valves.
- The unit is used for accurate oil flow regulation, linear soft acceleration and deceleration, modulated output signal, and programmable deadband.
- Is highly suitable for joystick regulation of A/B movements.
Features
- Front-programmable
- mA, V, and Ω programmable input
- Ramp times, jump values, reversal, chopper frequency, and deadband
- 3-digit LED display shows I-valve % value
- 1 or 2 channels
- Modulated current output for proportional valve

DIP Switch Programming Note:
Before finalising fine-tuning via the front-panel buttons, the PR 2224 requires hardware-level configuration using internal DIP switches to define the primary input signal type (e.g., 4-20mA or 0-10V).
