1. WiHub (Surface Communication Gateway)

• The WiHub acts as an automated, surface-level communication bridge (often mounted on buoys or vessels).
• When WiSens loggers surface, such as when fishing gear or nets are pulled back onto a vessel or the tide goes out, they automatically connect via Wi-Fi and transfer their logged datasets to the WiHub.
• The WiHub bundles this data along with GNSS/GPS positioning coordinates and transmits it remotely via 3G/4G, Ethernet, or Wi-Fi to a central web interface, email, or an FTP server.

2. Protective Housing (WiSens Protections)

• What it does: A specialised, high-resilience protective shell engineered to withstand intense physical shocks, impacts, and collisions.
• Key Features:
  • Gear Integration: Can be seamlessly installed onto commercial fishing nets, trawls, and other active marine equipment.
  • Flow Preservation: Designed to maintain natural water flow around the logger to ensure accurate, unhindered environmental measurements.
  • Field Accessibility: Allows the logger’s internal Wi-Fi to still be turned on externally using a dedicated magnetic stick without needing to disassemble the housing.

3. Axial Clamps

• What it does: A specialised mounting bracket perfectly contoured and tailored to the exact diameter of the WiSens logger body.
• Key Function: Used primarily to securely suspend the logger vertically in an underwater column.

4. Mooring Clamps

• What it does: A rigid mounting bracket featuring an adaptable diameter designed to anchor the logger to stationary sub-surface structures.
• Key Function: Used for the secure fixation of the logger onto fixed supports such as ocean rocks, piers, rigid frames, or fixed mooring lines.
