By executing built-in conditional hysteresis logic, the controller can process inputs and toggle its onboard relays entirely offline. The primary distinction between the legacy TCG120 and the latest TCG120-4 version is their mobile network connectivity: the TCG120 operated on only the 2G (GSM/GPRS) networks, while the TCG120-4 is the new upgraded version that supports 4G LTE Cat. 1, with backward compatibility to 2G (TCG120-4E covers 2G and 3G). This makes the TCG120-4 the better choice as 2G networks are being phased out in many regions.
