Cellular Remote Monitoring and Control

Every module in the TCG range provides global multi-band 4G LTE connectivity (with seamless 3G and 2G fallback) to ensure last-mile communication where local Ethernet or Wi-Fi is entirely unavailable. They feature a built-in web server for straightforward USB configuration, standalone automated logic processing, and native M2M protocol support including MQTT and HTTP/HTTPS POST (XML/JSON).

The TCG120-4 is designed for clean, reliable point-to-point telemetry. Housed in a compact enclosure, it provides the essential hardware I/O footprint required to track local conditions and remotely toggle electrical gear via SMS, HTTP API, or MQTT. It can also run completely offline, using its inputs to directly trigger local relays without needing server authorisation.

  • Digital Inputs: 2 x Non-isolated “dry contact” inputs (for door switches, flow meters, or tamper alerts).
  • Analogue Inputs: 2 x Single-ended analogue inputs with a wide 0 to 60VDC range (ideal for tracking industrial battery banks or power systems).
  • Relay Outputs: 2 x Form C relays (with both Normally Open and Normally Closed contacts) rated at 3A @ 24VDC / 30VAC.
  • Sensor Expansion: Dedicated 1-Wire interface supporting up to 4 Teracom digital sensors (temperature, humidity, AC/DC current loop, or voltage).
  • Special Feature: Built-in GSM Geolocation capabilities allowing you to track asset locations indoors or outdoors without a dedicated GPS antenna.
  • Best For: Automated water pump management, agricultural monitoring, small server room climate tracking, and street lighting control.

The TCG140-4 is a heavy-duty, industrial-grade powerhouse housed in a rugged metal enclosure with native DIN-rail mounting. Built to replace older, phased-out 2G telemetry gear, this universal module massively expands your I/O capacity. It features a massive internal data logger and full hardware support for standard industrial current loops and legacy serial machinery.

  • Digital Inputs: 2 x Non-isolated “dry contact” inputs with a fast 10ms sampling rate.
  • Analogue Inputs: 4 x 10-bit analogue inputs. Inputs 1 and 2 are dedicated 0-10VDC. Inputs 3 and 4 are software-selectable via web interface for 0-10VDC or 0-20mA / 4-20mA current loops.
  • Relay Outputs: 4 x Form C relays (NO/NC) rated at 3A, allowing multi-stage equipment overrides.
  • Data Logging: Massive onboard FLASH memory holding up to 70,000 internal records for scheduled data capture or event-driven logging.
  • Sensor & Serial Expansion: Combined support for up to 8 total devices shared between Teracom’s 1-Wire bus and a dedicated RS485 Modbus RTU interface.
  • M2M Execution: Periodically pushes status reports via HTTP/HTTPS Post in clean XML or JSON, and transmits internal data logger files directly to your cloud platform in standard CSV formats.
  • Best For: Industrial process automation, pharmaceutical and food cold-chain logging, SCADA system integration, and monitoring legacy Modbus-enabled factory machinery.

The TCG210-4 shifts the focus entirely toward autonomous, highly efficient data retention. It is specifically optimised for long-term deployment in areas lacking steady mains electricity. Running on an internal battery management layout, it spends most of its lifecycle in an ultra-low-power sleep state, waking up at pre-programmed intervals to read environment parameters, log them securely, and establish a brief 4G connection to upload data packages.

  • I/O & Peripheral Setup: Tailored specifically for digital sensors, handling up to 8 Teracom 1-Wire sensors alongside dedicated digital tracking inputs.
  • Energy Management: Advanced internal power-saving logic with a smart sleep-wake tracking schedule to maximise field battery life.
  • Robust Alert Logic: Capable of sending real-time, TLS-encrypted email notifications and targeted SMS alerts to up to 5 individual recipients if any environmental thresholds are breached.
  • Data Reliability: Features a robust internal logger that safely secures your environmental history locally if cellular signal drops, syncing automatically upon network restoration.
  • Best For: Remote weather tracking stations, agricultural soil/climate analysis, unattended environmental storage, and off-grid asset monitoring.
