Service Kits

These Service Kits contain the parts required for servicing and replacing the batteries of Tinytag data loggers.

Maintenance kits must be carefully matched to your specific hardware casing and profile to prevent moisture ingress or premature battery drain:

  • SER-9500: The universal field service kit containing a 1/2AA Lithium battery, replacement case gaskets, and fresh desiccant pouches for Ultra 2, Plus 2, View 2, Talk 2, and legacy Plus/IS loggers.

  • SER-9513: Specifically tailored battery replacement bundle for legacy, discontinued Tinytag Transit (TG-3080) loggers.

  • SER-9514: Double-duty service pack optimised with a slim profile CR2325 coin cell and instructions for Transit 2 (TG-4080/81) and Tinytag CO2 (TGE-0010/11) monitors.

  • SER-9525: Heavy-duty, marine-grade maintenance kit featuring deep-water replacement cells and pre-greased protective sealing O-rings exclusively for the fully submersible Tinytag Aquatic 2 (TG-4100).

Annual Recalibration

When you submit your data loggers for an annual re-calibration service, full preventative maintenance is already integrated into the standard procedure. As part of the calibration process, the internal lithium batteries, primary casing gaskets, and desiccant packs are automatically replaced with brand-new components to guarantee hardware integrity and maintain precise calibration baselines. Consequently, clients opting for annual factory calibration should not need to purchase standalone service kits, as all vital environmental seals and power cells are refreshed as part of the validation workflow.
