Description

The Gill WindUltra is a next-generation, ultra-compact 2-axis ultrasonic anemometer engineered for high-precision wind monitoring in the most demanding industrial and meteorological environments. While serving as a modern, space-efficient alternative to the standard WindSonic, the WindUltra is a significantly more rugged professional instrument, boasting a triple-certified IP66, IP68, and IP69k rating for total protection against high-pressure washdowns, fine dust, and submersion. Weighing just 270g and featuring an innovative ‘twist-lock’ mounting system, it provides maintenance-free wind speed and direction data up to 75m/s (168mph). With integrated heating as standard and support for Modbus, SDI-12, and NMEA protocols, the WindUltra is the definitive choice for mobile masts, UAV platforms, and critical infrastructure where size, weight, and extreme durability are non-negotiable.
