Description

The TSA200 is a 1-Wire current loop transmitter that supports a 0(4)-20mA input range. A key feature is the galvanic isolation of its current loop input from the communication interface, ensuring robust performance. This device communicates over a 1-Wire bus, and each sensor is equipped with a unique 64-bit serial code, enabling multiple units to be connected on the same bus. For easy daisy-chaining in multi-sensor systems, the TSA200 also includes two RJ11 connectors.

The TSA200 can be connected to almost any industrial sensor with a 0-20mA or 4-20mA output. The raw current readings in mA can be easily converted into other meaningful units by applying an offset and multiplier within the controller. This flexibility allows the sensor to be used for measuring both electrical and non-electrical parameters, such as liquid levels, air pressure, gas concentration, illumination, and acidity (pH).
