Description
The ToughSonic TS-100.30C2X.007FB is a low-power, serial-only ultrasonic sensor designed specifically for dedicated digital networks and remote telemetry applications. Built within the same IP68/NEMA-6P marine-grade 316 stainless steel enclosure with a 9.1m (30ft) maximum measurement range, this model provides an RS232 serial interface while omitting the digital switch and 4–20 mA / 0–10 V analogue outputs found on the standard TS-100.30C1X.007FB model. By stripping away unnecessary analogue and digital output channels that may not be required for your system, the TS-100.30C2X.007FB operates with reduced power draw, making it exceptionally suited for remote solar- or battery-powered monitoring stations, wireless gateways, and dedicated serial data loggers. Where local control loops or legacy analogue inputs are required, the fully featured TS-100.30C1X.007FB variant provides the complete multi-output alternative and available in the upsells below.

The ToughSonic sensors are very versatile and the SenixView software allows the units to be easily rescaled, configured, cloned, addressed and synchronised with other sensors. Simultaneous outputs are available in programmable 4-20mA or 0-10V analogue outputs and PNP or NPN switches (configurable as sinking or sourcing). The RS485 serial output can link to an addressable network using the Modbus protocol. If requested, this can be done prior to shipping for easier installation, order TSPC-PROG and we will program to your specific requirements.
