Description
The Teracom TCG120-4E is a wireless I/O module designed for robust “last-mile” communication. It ensures reliable connectivity with versions supporting 4G and 2G (GSM/GPRS) networks, automatically adapting to available coverage. If needed, you can manually select the network during setup. For inputs and outputs, it includes two digital inputs, two analogue inputs, and two relays with both normally open and normally closed contacts. Additionally, it features a 1-Wire interface that supports up to four Teracom sensors, expanding its monitoring capabilities.
Setting up the TCG120-4E is straightforward; you can use a web-based graphical interface initially. Once deployed, it can be easily configured remotely using SMS or HTTP API commands. This module also supports offline operation, allowing its relays to be triggered by alarm conditions from any monitored parameter, be it digital inputs, analogue inputs, or connected sensors. This means the device can control processes directly without external commands. For integration into SCADA systems, the TCG120-4E supports machine-to-machine (M2M) communication protocols like HTTP API (sending full status in XML or JSON) and MQTT (sending selected parameters efficiently, even on limited bandwidth networks).
The TCG120-4E covers the following bands:
4G LTE: B1/B3/B5/B7/B8/B20
2G: B3/B8
