Sealed Lead Acid (SLA) Batteries are a robust, low cost, reliable power source suitable for a wide range of applications. SLA batteries are ideal for small remote power application with solar panels. The batteries are tolerant to overcharging and can be left on trickle or float charge for prolonged periods. These batteries have been used for over 100 years and come available in a wide range of capacities (Max 65Ah) and supply voltages. Batteries can be connected in parallel or series to increase Ah or voltage.
The Yuasa NP Series batteries are the result of over seven decades of battery manufacturing experience. Utilizing the latest advance design Oxygen Recombination Technology, Yuasa has applied their nearly 80 years experience in the lead acid battery field to produce the optimum design of Sealed Lead Acid batteries. The NP batteries utilize Yuasa’s unique electrolye suspension system incorporating a microfine glass mat to retain the maximum amount of electrolyte in the cells. The electrolyte is retrained in the separator material and there is no free electrolyte to escape from the cells.
