Our inhouse calibration service is performed in our dedicated calibration area with the Beamex MC5 Multi-function Calibrator and a custom built pressure rig. Our MC5 is recalibrated to UKAS standards each year to ensure the units accuracy is within the limits required for valid certificates.
MC5 Main Features
- Pressure, temperature, electrical and frequency measurement and calibration
- Pressure (1 year uncertainty): from 0.025 % rdg + 0.01 % FS
- Temperature (1 year uncertainty): from 0.06°C (RTD measurement)
- Temperature (1 year uncertainty): from 0.10°C (TC measurement)
- Electrical (1 year uncertainty): typically 0.02 % rdg + small adder
We offer a standard 11 or 5 point calibration certificate. For a 5 point calibration tests the pressure sensors at 5 points over the full range of the sensor. The five points are based on the lowest point of the sensors range up to the highest and then back down again. So, a 5 point calibration of a 300 Bar LEO 2 Manometer would take readings at 0, 75, 150, 225, 300, 225, 150, 75 and finally at 0 Bar.
The certificate we provide shows the readings generating from your sensors, the readings from our calibrated Beamex machine and the error in the readings found.
Replacement batteries for LEO2 and LEO Record digital manometers are recommended for recalibrations and available below. Purchased batteries will be fitted prior to re-calibration.
