The Novus N323TR is a high-performance refrigeration controller designed for precise temperature management and optimised defrost cycles in cold rooms and refrigeration cases. It shares the core electronics platform of the Novus Electronic Thermostat family but is uniquely distinguished by an internal Real-Time Clock (RTC), which enables sophisticated weekly and daily scheduling for defrost events. This allows you to set different scheduling Monday to Friday, when doors may be open more often. The N323TR utilises a dual-sensor input system to monitor both ambient environment and evaporator temperatures, ensuring the compressor, defrost module, and fans operate only when necessary for maximum energy efficiency.
The N323TR (available in 12-30VDC and Mains-Powered variants) is designed for professional environments where temperature accuracy and data integrity are critical. - Protection: The N323TR includes programmable “minimum ON” and “minimum OFF” times for this relay to prevent “short-cycling,” which protects the compressor from premature electrical or mechanical failure.
2. Relay 2: Defrost Management
The second (SPST) relay can be dedicated to removing ice buildup from the evaporator coils.
