LPMS-U3 9-Axis IMU Motion Sensor with Wired Connections

The LPMS-U3 Motion Sensor is a high precision, miniature, inertial measurement unit (IMU) housed inside a lightweight ABS plastic case. The LPMS-U3 features a 3-axis accelerometer, 3-axis gyroscope and 3-axis magnetometer sensors and can provide raw data, euler angle or quaternion data output formats via USB, RS232, TTL or CANBus protocols. The sensors feature a DB9 Serial Port for data connection and USB-B port for USB 2.0 connection.

Description

The LPMS-U3 Motion Sensor is a miniature inertial measurement unit (IMU) and attitude and heading reference system (AHRS) housed in a small ABS plastic housing. The unit performs accurate, high speed orientation and displacement measurements with three different MEMS sensors. The LPMS-U3 is equipment with a powerful central processing unit that will fuse raw data from a gyroscope, accelerometer and magnetometer to calculate results in real-time with low drift. All sensor parameters and data transmission options can be controlled by our LPMSControl2 software. For direct interfacing to Windows / Linux PC or Open Source drivers with support for OpenZen, C, C++, Python, C#, Unity and ROS.
