Tracer Lithium Batteries

Description

Tracer Lithium Polymer (Li-Po) Battery Packs offer a tremendous advantage over traditional sealed lead acid batteries: LiPo battery packs are a ¼ of the weight of traditional sealed lead acid batteries; Lithium polymer technology gives a very flat discharge curve which means sustained power to the end of the cycle; and the non slip rubber and ABS construction provides excellent grip and impact protection.

Features

Built in Fuel Gauge

The built-in Tracer fuel gauge allows you to check the power level remaining in the battery pack. A touch of the button shows how much energy remains and whether you need to recharge.

 

Robust ABS Casing & Soft Grip Texture

The non slip soft grip rubber provides excellent grip. Whilst the ABS construction provides excellent impact protection.

Universal Connections Available

Tracer battery packs can power any 12V application. As standard we provide connectors to supply a 12V cigar socket adapter, (Ideal for mobile phone car chargers or other cigarette lighter socket devices). Flying leads and various other connectors are available on request, please contact us to discuss your requirements.

High Efficiency Charger

The compact 1.65A Charger (TR8136 included) will charge your battery quickly from any AC mains supply with UK, EU, US and AUS power adaptors. For faster charge times, a rapid 3A charger (TR8138) is available.

Safety Features

Integrated Electronic ‘Battery Management System’ (BMS) provides the following protection:

  • Overcharge & over-discharge protection
  • Thermal protection
  • Over current protection
  • Short circuit protection

Flat Discharge

Lithium polymer technology gives a very flat discharge curve which means sustained power to the end of the cycle. This ensures the power is available for longer and doesn’t drop below any minimum levels of any attached sensors or loggers.

Certified Safe

All Tracer lithium batteries conform to standard UN 38.3 which is the ONLY relevant safety standard for lithium batteries. The Tracer battery packs have been through a rigorous testing procedure by UN certified inspectors. You should NEVER handle a non-certified lithium battery pack.
