The HP23 is a multi-function handheld instrument that can read the data from up to two HygroClip2 probes and display relative humidity, temperature and a calculated psychrometric parameter such as the dew point or wet bulb temperature. The internal memory allows for full logging functions including spot recording, with time base, multi-point calibration adjustment. Probe selection is based on the application. Depending on the HygroClip2 probes used, the measuring range is within 0 to 100%RH and -100 to 200C. The HW4 software provides a practical interface for the configuration, display and recording of data collected from the HygroPalm 23.
The HP23 is a multifunction handheld indicator with data logging capability. The HP23 can be used in many different applications such as the spot check measurement of HVAC installations and manufacturing processes, the measurement of seeds, pharmaceutical powders and other materials in bulk, the measurement of paper stacks and rolls, etc. The HP23 is also a calibrator that can be used to read and adjust other instruments, etc HygroClip2 probe, HygroFlex transmitters and HygroLog data loggers. Each of the two probe inputs can be configured to accept either a digital HygroClip 2 probe or suitable analogue probe with suitable output. The HP23 has a real time clock to keep track of the date and time when recording data and is powered with either a standard 9V alkaline battery or with a rechargeable battery.
Applications
The HygroPalm 23 is ideal for a wide range of applications where the precise measurement of temperature and humidity is required, eg. food and pharmaceutical industries or printing and paper industries. The options for multiple probes, including third-party sensors allow the HygroPalm 23 to monitor more than just temperature and humidity. Suitable sensors can allow the unit to also be used to monitor air pressure, wind speeds, etc.
