The EGW1-MB module is used to connect any industrial equipment with Modbus RTU or ASCII, to an Ethernet TCP / IP protocol to transmit data across an Ethernet connection. An EGW1-MB unit is available with 10 digital I/O channels for additional monitoring and onsite control. This option makes it different from similar devices, since it provides an integrated solution for control applications without the need to any additional modules.
The EGW1-IA3-MB is the latest version of the EGW1-MB Modbus Protocol Converters and allows for the remote connection to Modbus serial devices over an Ethernet connection. This allows remote connection to Modbus serial devices from anywhere in the world via an Ethernet connection. The EGW1-IA3-MB includes a unit with 10 configurable digital I/O channels for remote monitoring and control, without the need for any additional input or output modules. A unit is also available with 4 configurable serial ports with independant configuration
