Description
The DPA allows for duct insertion probes to be held at a fixed insertion depth. It is useful for small ducting, or to simple hold a probe in a fixed position. The DPA is suitable for use with the AV-D (older version AV-622, RH-D, RH-622), MiniAir & MiniWater Probes, plus many other sensors with an insertion probe fitted into a duct or unpressurised
pipeline. The Flange can be fixed to the ducting using appropriate screws, then insert the sensors probe into the compression gland to the required depth and hand tighten the gland to hold in the correct position.

Compatible Probes
- AV-D Probes: What the DPA was first designed for and best used for cost-effective, continuous BEMS duct monitoring where multi-range flexibility (0-4 to 0-32 m/s) and direct analogue signals (0-10V / 4-20mA) are required for automation.
- MiniAir Probes: Best option for turbulent flow, cleanroom verification, or environments with dirt/moisture where physical vane rotation delivers superior reliability over thermal sensors.
- MiniWater Probes: Ideal option for liquid flow measurement in open channels, streams, or flumes. When combined with the DPA mounting bracket—secured across spanning planks or a bridge structure—it provides a rigid, vibration-resistant mount that keeps the probe submerged at a stable, repeatable depth.
