The cLAN series serves as the dedicated Ethernet TCP/IP version of the GRD-4GM, providing identical telemetry and data logging capabilities for environments where local area network connectivity is preferred over cellular 4G. Designed for industrial monitoring and remote I/O expansion, the units allow users to bridge Modbus RTU/TCP devices to the cloud or local servers using the same powerful SCRIPT logic engine found in the GRD range. The primary configuration choice involves selecting between “Gateway” models for serial-to-ethernet transparency or “I/O” models that include onboard digital and analogue channels for direct sensor integration. This series is the ideal choice for fixed-line installations requiring high-speed data transfer and robust edge-processing without the need for a SIM card.
