Teracom suggests a total cable length of up to 30 meters using UTP/FTP cables. Using the CabU_1m_RJ11 cables between these devices is well within this guideline and can help maintain signal integrity over the 1-Wire bus, particularly as RJ11 connectors are well-suited for low-speed data connections like those used in 1-Wire networks. This configuration allows for a simple and effective method to expand the 1-Wire network linearly.
On a single network with Teracom 1-Wire devices, the practical limit is often dictated by the specific controller or module being used. Many Teracom Ethernet and GSM/LTE I/O modules, such as the TCW241, TCG140-4, TCW240B, and TCW210-TH, are designed to support up to 8 Teracom 1-Wire sensors. Some older or smaller controllers, like the TCG120 and TCW122B-CM, specify a limit of up to 4 1-Wire sensors.

1-Wire Network Linear Topology
Using the 1m, or 3m, RJ-11 cables with the 1-Wire Sensors and Transmitters with dual RJ-11 connectors allow you to create a Daisy-Chained Linear Topology. The max cable length, from the Master device to the Slave device at the further point, should be less than 30m. With the limitations of the Teracom Ethernet and GSM/LTE I/O modules of a maximum of 4 or 8 1-Wire sensors, you would not exceed this, even with the 3m cables.
1-Wire Network Stubbed Topology
Using the 1m, or 3m, RJ-11 cables with a separate 1-Wire Network would allow you to create a Stubbed Network topology. This can be achieve by using the SPL2_RJ11 cable to the 1m, or 3m RJ-11 cables. The stubs can then be connected to one of the 1-Wire sensors with screwless terminals to a network with RJ-11 sensors. As each Stub of 3m would count 6m as the cable length, the CabU_1m_RJ11 would help prevent the total length exceeding the 30m maximum.
