Description
The Aquatel Telemetry Aquaprobe version is designed specifically for use with Aquaprobe and Aquasonde range of water quality probes. The unit connects to the Aquaprobe sensors and provide a mobile network connection between the sensors and the Internet. This allows the collected data to be retrieved remotely, without the need to visit each sensor to collect data.
The AquaTel system functions as the telemetry system for the connected Aquaprobe sensors. It automatically detect the sensor type and configuration, allowing it to record water quality readings at set intervals and then transmit this data to an online platform for viewing and analysis via FTP, or simple SMS text message to a mobile phone.
A key feature of the AquaTel system is its control via SMS text messaging. This allows users to set up and manage the system from any mobile phone without needing to download and install a specific app and regardless of location. Users can also request current data via SMS and configure up to eight programmable alerts that trigger SMS alert messages when specific conditions are met.
