5B Measuring Amplifiers (MA Series)

The 5B measuring amplifiers allow for the signal conditioning of inputs into the cassette slots on the AMS42 and AMS84 All-in-one measurement system. Multi-range amplifiers (covering voltage, current, resistance, PT100, strain gauge, thermocouple and LVDT inputs), as well as modules with specific functionality (e.g. filter modules, frequency voltage converters, pulse shapers, power supplies) The amplifier output is in the range of 5V or 0-5V. Most of the modules are electrically isolating and provide sensor supply. For vibration monitoring applications units are available with constant current supply and bandwidths up to 50KHz.

The MA-UNI is an isolated universal measuring amplifier that adjusts signals of different types and size to a suitable 5V signal that is compatible with the AMS data acquisition system. This unit covers all common sensors, with mV, V, mA, Resistance, 4 and 6 wire strain gauges as well as LVDT’s with direct connection and numerous measuring ranges.
The MA-UI is an isolated multi-range amplifier that adjusts voltage and current (DC) signals into a suitable 5V signal that is compatible with the AMS data acquisition system. This unit covers nine input voltage ranges from ±5mV and ±50V and six current measuring ranges from ±1 to ±200mA. It is also suitable for use with ICP type accelerometers providing a constant current supply with switchable bandwidth 10Hz…..10KHz
The MA-U is an isolated voltage measuring amplifier that adjusts voltage signals into a suitable 5V signal that is compatible with the AMS data acquisition system. This unit covers four input AC/DC voltages from ±0.5V to ±10V. The amplifier has switchable bandwidth from 1KHz…50KHz and constant current supply.
