Description
The TSA202 and TSA202-60 are 1-Wire input modules that cover different types of analogue signals. The TSA202 is a dual-channel analogue input modules, specifically configurable for 0-20mA or 0-10V inputs, whilst the TSA202-60 is a dedicated dual-channel module, designed for 0 to 60vDC inputs. Both modules offer galvanic isolation for their respective inputs, a critical feature for signal integrity and protection in industrial environments by preventing ground loops and electrical interference. Both are passive devices, meaning the connected sensors will need separate power supplies.
Despite their distinct input capabilities, both the TSA202 and TSA202-60 share a common communication architecture and user-friendly features. Both operate over the 1-Wire digital protocol, allowing for straightforward integration into distributed sensor networks. Each sensor is equipped with a unique 64-bit serial code, enabling multiple units of either type to coexist and communicate on the same 1-Wire bus. For ease of installation and scalability, both modules feature screwless terminal connectors, facilitating daisy-chain wiring for multi-sensor systems. The digital output from both devices can be readily converted into meaningful engineering units using an offset and multiplier set in the master controller, providing flexibility in data interpretation across a variety of applications.
