Description
The TSH206 is a digital sensor designed for precise humidity and temperature measurements, utilising a convenient 1-Wire interface. When paired with an Ethernet or GSM controllers, it forms an excellent system for monitoring environmental conditions in critical areas such as server rooms, data centers, offices, and retail spaces. This sensor integrates fundamental sensing components with advanced signal processing to deliver a fully calibrated digital output, ensuring superior measurement accuracy and reliability.
Communication with the TSH206 occurs over a simple 1-Wire bus, and each sensor features a unique 64-bit serial code. This allows for the easy connection and individual identification of multiple sensors on the same bus, simplifying the deployment of multi-point monitoring systems. The sensor is equipped with two RJ11 connectors, facilitating straightforward daisy-chain wiring. Additionally, an optional accessory is available to enable easy installation within standard 19” cabinets.

* Recommended operating range is -10 to 60°C @ 20-80%RH. Prolonged operation beyond these ranges may result in a shift of sensor reading and slow recovery time.
Compatible Controllers & Monitoring Systems
Designed for Seamless 1-Wire Networking:
The TSH206v3 is engineered for high-density environmental monitoring. To function, this sensor must be connected to a compatible 1-Wire Controller (Master) featuring RJ11 ports. Its dual-port design allows for efficient linear daisy-chaining, reducing wiring complexity in server racks and industrial cabinets. The RJ11 ports also provide the power for the sensor.
Flexible Installation Options:
- Daisy-Chain Configuration: Connect multiple TSH206v3 sensors in a sequence using 1m or 3m RJ11 patch cables for localized monitoring (e.g., across multiple rack levels).
- Direct Long-Range Connection: For sensors located further from the master unit, use the 30m RJ11 cable to connect a single sensor or the start of a chain directly to the controller.
- Maximum Network Reach: The system supports a total cable length of up to 30m in a linear topology, ensuring reliable data transmission across large data centres.
