Monitoring water tables, deep reservoirs, and commercial wells requires a level transmitter that can handle continuous submersion while surviving tight physical spaces. In mid-range deep wells, standard probes often jam against drop pipes, power lines, or internal borehole pump couplings.

The Novus WL320 Mid-Range series eliminates installation friction entirely. Engineered with a specialised 19 mm ultra-slim profile, it slips cleanly down narrow boreholes and small-diameter protective guide pipes. Constructed from high-grade, full 316L Stainless Steel, it delivers long-term corrosion immunity against mineral-heavy ground water, brackish water, and industrial runoff.

WL320 Advantages for Mid-Range Applications

  • Zero-Snag Installation: The 19mm body effortlessly navigates crowded wellheads, tight suspension cables, and narrow plumbing gaps where larger 26.5mm sensors simply cannot fit.

  • Industrial Chemical Defense: Pure 316L stainless steel engineering blocks pitting and degradation from leachate, chlorinated fluids, organic solvents, and caustic chemical injection zones.

  • Long-Distance Current Loop: The reliable 4-20 mA current output feeds real-time depth telemetry, even if you add a hundred metres of surface cabling without data dropouts or voltage fluctuations.

Barometric Compensation Box

Accurate hydrostatic measurement relies entirely on balancing the sensor against local atmospheric pressure changes via an internal cable vent tube. To prevent moisture, humidity, and dirt from entering this delicate tube and damaging your transmitter, we highly recommend installing a specialised Vented Compensation Box. This enclosure allows the sensor to breathe freely while utilising a replaceable desiccant to seal out the elements, ensuring long-term system accuracy and preventing premature sensor failure.

Small ABS Compensation Box. Provides a venting point for a depth sensor close to the monitoring location, whilst offering a connection for a longer cable back to monitoring equipment. Enclosure is IP67 rated to prevent water ingress but not air tight.
