Gill Sensors & Controls is a leading manufacturer of innovative measurement sensors, relied upon to inform and control processes in a diverse range of industries and applications. The range encompasses specialist level sensing, condition monitoring, position sensors and engine control products for the process control, utilities, off-highway, motorsport and defence markets. Gill Sensors & Controls are well known for high quality ‘fit and forget’ products, clearly understanding that long term product performance is paramount to customers.
Gill liquid levels sensors provide continuous liquid level measurement. All are solid-state, based on capacitive or conductive technology and offer unmatched long term reliability in harsh environments while requiring minimum maintenance. Each sensor is fully configurable and produces outputs compatible with most industry standard systems.
WearDetect oil debris sensors have been proven in use by world-leading manufacturers, to provide the earliest warning of the initial stages of machine failure. WearDetect is primarily used in oil based systems, such as gearboxes, across manufacturing and also by operators of critical and remote equipment. WearDetect can be used for stand-alone measurement, integrated into a larger PLC or SCADA system.
Gill position sensors use induction technology to detect the position of a metallic target (activator) mounted on or machined into the moving part of the application. There is no contact between the position sensor and the moving part, providing excellent long-term reliability in harsh environments including high/low temperatures and thermal shock, vibration, shock, dust, grime, salt spray and pressure washing.
Gill provides all-in-one control systems, combining a full package of ignition and air/fuel ratio control systems, designed to increase efficiency and reduce emissions of industrial gas engines. All components within the Engine Control System have been designed to work together, ensuring the complete engine control system is as efficient as possible. It is usually possible for engines that are unable to meet modern emissions regulations (RICE NESHAP) to be brought into compliance with the Gill Ultimate engine control system.
