Rather than logging data internally, WSR units act as specialised translators within the GEN II telemetry ecosystem. They capture real-time radio signals from battery-powered GEN II transmitters positioned across a site and instantly convert those measurements into standard analogue outputs. This allows users to deploy wireless sensors in difficult-to-wire areas while feeding the data directly into existing, preferred industrial hardware, such as Building Management Systems (BMS), PLCs, SCADA networks, or third-party data acquisition equipment.

The WSR family is highly adaptable, offering four distinct hardware configurations based on channel density and signal requirements:

• WSR-8V and WSR-16V (Voltage Outputs): These models provide 8 or 16 independent channels that output a standard 0-5V DC analogue signal. They are ideal for monitoring slowly changing environmental variables like temperature, relative humidity, or light levels.
• WSR-8C and WSR-16C (Current Loop Outputs): Built for industrial deployments or long-distance wire runs where voltage drops might compromise data integrity, these models provide 8 or 16 channels outputting a standard 4-20mA current loop.
