OBUC Single Point – Compression Load Cell

The OBUC series of loadcells are single point load cells designed for applications where the point of application of the load or force may vary. Single point load cells are primarily designed for the platform type weighing scales where applications are diverse, ranging from weighing a few Kg to heavy canisters of nitrogen gas. Other applications include low range tensile test machines, robotics and web tension measurement. Load cells are available with a range of 0-10Kg up to 0-200Kg and cover platforms measuring up to 400mm square using just a single load cell. The load cells provide a 2mV/V output but can be supplied with suitable inline amplifiers to provide a calibrated 4-20mA output. ATEX versions are available.

The OBUC Series load cells are a single point compression load cell designed or use in weighing scales and a wide selection of low range force meaurements applications. Their dual cantilever beam design makes them insensitive to bending moments and also offers extremely high acuracy and stability.

DSC-USB Load Cell Digitiser Module. The DSC-USB is a USB load cell interface designed to convert load cell inputs into a digital USB Serial output, 100 samples per second. It is housed in a rugged plastic enclosure (71 x 51 x 20mm) rated to IP50 with a D9 connector and female micro USB connector. The DSC-USB draws power directly from the PC interface and units are supplied with DSCUSB to USB converter tool kit software and USB to micro USB cable, 1.5m.
