The Aquaread Optical Rhodamine WT Dye Electrode is a highly sensitive digital sensor engineered to track and measure Rhodamine WT fluorescent tracer dyes in situ. Operating on the principle of narrow-band fluorometry, the sensor projects a targeted excitation light beam at 525 nm directly into the water column. The sub-surface Rhodamine dye molecules absorb this energy and instantaneously emit a shifted fluorescent signal, which the sensor isolates and measures through a tightly filtered 575 nm to 650 nm window to determine parts-per-billion concentrations
