AP-Lite Aqua Probe Package

AP-LITE Platform

The Aquaread AP-Lite is a highly portable, streamlined water quality probe engineered specifically for targeted, single-parameter environmental testing. Machined from rugged, hard-anodised marine-grade Aluminium, this compact instrument features a single specialised optical socket designed to host any individual sensor from Aquaread’s advanced optical electrodes. It acts as an agile, field-hardened extension for operators who require precise, localised chemical profiling without deploying a heavy, multi-sensor monitoring array.

The AP-Lite;s slim profile and focused operational efficiency allows it to offer a cost-effective, specialised solution that allows users to rapidly deploy a single high-tier optical sensor, such as a Turbidity or Chlorophyll probe, either for continuous tracking at a static station or for swift, comparative spot-testing across multiple nearby sampling locations.

Key Features

  • Dedicated Single-Socket Architecture: Features one auxiliary socket that accepts any interchangeable Aquaread optical electrode, providing a highly customisable single-parameter footprint.
  • Agile Spatial Tracking: Ideal for monitoring a single parameter across nearby locations, allowing rapid spatial mapping of localised phenomena like sediment plumes or algal blooms.
  • No Internal Baseline Sensors: Unlike the AP-2000 series and upward, the AP-Lite strips away fixed baseline sensors (like pH or Conductivity) to deliver the absolute smallest, lightest physical profile in the Aquaread line-up.
  • Marine-Grade Construction: Built to the same rigorous mechanical standards as flagship modules, utilising a heavy-walled, corrosion-resistant anodised Aluminium housing for freshwater and saltwater deployments.
  • Universal Interface Compatibility: Connects seamlessly to the handheld GPS Aquameter for instant data logging or the BlueLink Bluetooth adapter for convenient mobile phone operation.

The AP-Lite is optimised for Aquaread’s optical electrodes (such as Turbidity, Chlorophyll, Refined Oil for maximum accuracy), this allows you to place multiple sensors downstream to see how pollution concentration drop. The AP-LITE can also be used with Rhodamine WT or Fluorescein Dye electrodes for dispersion tracking, with multiple sensor located at potential sites the source may come out.

AP-Lite Aquaprobe Package

AP-Lite Aquaprobe Package

The pocket sized Aquaprobe is designed to measure a single parameter, it consists of a small body with an optical electrode socket. Each sensor can be connected to any one of 8 of the optical electrodes available, which can be simply connected and disconnected as required. Available electrodes cover Turbidity, Chlorophyll a, Blue Green Algae (fresh and salt water options), Rhodamine, Fluoresceine, CDOM/FDOM and refined oil.

AP-Lite Optical Electrodes

AP-Lite Optical Electrodes

Aquaprobe optical water quality sensors for the AP-LITE digital water quality sensor. These advanced optical electrodes are incredibly practical, allowing for easy, tool-free removal and replacement in the field. They're designed specifically for seamless integration with the AP-LITE digital water quality sensor, to provide a robust platform for your water monitoring needs. The AP-LITE Optical Electrodes offer measurements of Turbidity, Chlorophyll A, Blue Green Algae (fresh and salt water options), Rhodamine, Fluoresceine, CDOM/FDOM and refined oil. These electrodes are designed for use with the AP-LITE and factory calibration is for the measurement chamber in this probe.
