Description
The PS500 is intended for use in commercial environments. It is designed with field selectable set points from as low as 30 Pa to as high as 500 Pa. The NO/NC switch has a 3A Resistive Load limit, which can be used for space heaters or lighting control. The lower 2A Inductive Load limit is more suited for use with coils, pumps, fans or solenoids. Alternatively, you can always connect through an external relay with a higher rating.
Applications
- Medium-Efficiency Filter Monitoring: Monitoring rigid bag or pocket filters (F7/ePM1 or F8/ePM2.5) which commonly run up to a final pressure drop of 250–400 Pa before replacement.
- Fan Belt Breakage Protection: Detecting the sudden drop in pressure that occurs when a fan belt breaks or a motor fails, even if the electrical control circuit thinks the motor is running.
- Cleanroom Room-Pressure Alarms: Ensuring cleanrooms or isolation wards maintain positive or negative pressure relative to surrounding corridors (typically set around 30–50 Pa).
