Description
The LL-GAUGE-CTD-Package is ideal for monitoring rivers, docks or coastal water levels over a depth range of 10m in a single package. This covers most tidal ranges in rivers across the UK and rest of the World. Using a gauge sensor ensures readings are compensated for the barometric pressure at the location, but it does mean you need to ensure the vented cable isn’t submerged during any flooding event. The CTD sensors allow you to monitoring temperature and Conductivity along with the depth readings. The LL-GAUGE-CTD-Package contains: a 0-10m LeveLine Gauge CTD Sensor, LL-EX-10m-V (vented cable), EX-DH (desiccant housing that fits to the cable connector), DC-100 (100ml desiccant cartridge, fits to EX-DH), RC-300 (conductivity calibration solution 2570µS) and a LL-PC-KIT download cable.

The 4 ring stainless steel conductivity sensor for EC and salinity measurements is located under the elongated nose sleeve. The black plastic nose sleeve (shown removed on the right of the photo) forms an integral, working part of the Probe’s EC measurement system, and MUST be fitted during calibration and measurement for correct operation. On a regular basis, thoroughly clean the inside of the nose sleeve and the four metal EC contacts situated in the EC cell with a soft cloth or toothbrush and non-abrasive detergent. Never use solvent or alcohol based products to clean the EC cell. After cleaning, replace the nose sleeve and re-calibrate the EC sensor with the RapidCal solution.
