WL320 Submersible Hydrostatic Level Transmitter

WL320 Submersible Hydrostatic Level Transmitter

The WL320 is a 19mm diameter submersible transmitter designed for continuous liquid level monitoring in various water and liquid applications. It measures static pressure using a durable 316L stainless steel sensor with a proportional 4-20mA signal. A vented cable ensures that readings are compensated for atmospheric pressure changes. Standard cable lengths start from 5m up to 120 and usually longer than the depth range.

WL320 Level Transmitter

  • Description

Description

The WL320 is a slimmer version of the WL420 submersible hydrostatic level transmitter 19mm instead of 26.5mm. It has been designed for boreholes, or applications that require continuous liquid level monitoring with more restrictive space. The 4-20mA loop powered hydrostatic level transmitter will easily integrate with local displays, GSM alarm devices or environmental loggers.

Features

Accurate Measurement: It measures static pressure using a 316L stainless steel sensor, converting it to a 4-20mA current signal proportional to the liquid level.
Durable and Compatible: The sensor is compatible with raw and chlorinated water, as well as many semi-aggressive liquids. Any media compatible with 316L Stainless Steel and PUR can be safely used with the WL320.
Versatile Application: Available in multiple measurement ranges and cable long enough to clear the water. The sensor is also compatible with various instrumentation like panel meters, data loggers, and alarm systems.
Submersible Design: Designed for long-term immersion in the liquid being measured.
Atmospheric Compensation: A vented cable compensates for atmospheric pressure changes, ensuring accurate readings. A compensation box can be provided to prevent water ingress, whilst still allowing atmospheric venting. This also allows you to add less expensive standard cable to the sensor and ensures the sensor vents to the same pressure as the water level.
