Please Note: The WD-CS must be used with an alarm module and should not be connected directly to a BMS controller. The excitation for the sensor is an isolated AC signal which ensures the detectors will not be subject to oxidation or erosion over time, avoiding the degradation problems associated with DC systems.

For large-scale projects or custom facility layouts, the WD-CS-100M-BULK offers a cost-effective, versatile solution. This 100-metre continuous reel allows installers to cut the sensing cable to the exact dimensions required for complex floor plans or long-distance perimeter monitoring. The bulk reel provides the flexibility to create bespoke leak detection zones while maintaining the same high-specification 316 stainless steel sensing integrity found in our pre-terminated lengths. For installations where the monitoring zone is located away from the control panel, users can extend the system by adding their own standard non-sensing signal cable. By splicing two-core copper cable between the detection cable and the WD-AMX or WLM4 control unit, you can bridge distances across non-critical areas without the risk of false alarms. This flexibility, combined with the 100m bulk reel, ensures the WD-CS system can be tailored to the exact architectural requirements of any facility, from compact server rooms to sprawling industrial plant areas.
